FDAI is the brand promoting the agro-industrial heritage of the Italian territory based on the principles of traced and sustainable supply chain.
Filiera Agricola Italiana Spa, organization which supports and promotes the Italian farmers in Italy and worldwide, in cooperation with Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro SAC, first Italian supply chain for the production and processing of industrial tomato (already partner of Filiera Agricola together with other Italian big food industries), created the new FDAI brand (acronym for “signed by Italian farmers”).
The brand aims to promote the real and authentic Italian territory, produced by farmers, based on ethical and transparent principles of a traced and sustainable supply chain. For the first time, hence, the excellent Italian agriculture and food industry are together to safeguard, support and give value to the Made in Italy, through the common values of local and national identity, of transparency and sustainability for an aware food consumption but also to foster the knowledge and diffusion of food practices based on the principles of the Mediterranean Diet, through the combination of all ingredients useful to a healthy, varied and balanced nutrition.
The FDAI brand is actually placed on some products that Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro supplies to important distribution chains. The brand is already sold in different distribution channels, and also from direct producers who want to distinguish their own product with the above-mentioned values.
To Filiera Italia adhere big names of the Italian food industries: besides Coldiretti (the most important farmers association in Italy), there are also Inalca/Cremonini, Ferrero, Farchioni, Ocrim, Olma, Giorgio Tesi Group, Donnafugata, Cirio agricola, Bonifiche Ferraresi, Maccarese, Terre Moretti, Amenduni, and Consorzio Casalasco (with the brands Pomì and De Rica).
