HISTORY

THERE ONCE WAS OUR LOVE FOR QUALITY. THERE STILL IS.

Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro came to life in 1977. The creation of a cooperative, which brought together and gathered, in a unique reality, all the tomato producers in the area.
Today Casalasco Società Agricola S.p.A. carries on a story made of competence, research and passion for tomatoes.

The aims at that time were to offer the market not only the fruit from the cultivation, but the processed and ready-to-use product.
A finished product, distinguished by the quality of the tomato, its freshness and taste. In over 40 years of activity, the producers increased: today 560 farms work with us.
In these decades we have inaugurated new plants and we have seen the number of brands and producers that supply us with our raw materials grow. Time has turned into passion and experience: elements that helped us become the first Italian tomato producer and processer.
Yet, something is still the same: the quality underlying every productive step. A synthesis of taste and genuineness we want to bring also to your table.

Our mission is to support customers, partners and brands in order to develop a wide product range, conceived in respect with nature and its rhythms.
Numerous are the uses of the tomato in the cuisine, its creative potential is high.
We commit ourselves in every phase of the chain, not only to maintain the good quality, but the best –thanks to the work of our Research and Development laboratories- in time.

This is the reason why we undertook (and will continue to) to be a reference point for a conscious, focused and responsible production. We respect the territory, we know the origin of our products, we take care of every phase of our supply chain, because we believe that the attention and the safeguard of the quality are the only ways to preserve the Italian tomato tradition and its importance in our diet.

  2. To Grant Quality and Safety of the products through the rigorous application of rules and check of all prodution processes.
  3. To Supply the best international brands with semi-finished products such as ingredients, sauces and condiments as reliable and innovative co-manufacturer.
  4. To apply an ethical managing model, based on respect, implementation and spreading of the rules complying with Human Rights, Rights of Workers, Legality and Environment in each steps of food chain.
  5. To be excellent partner for the most European food industries for the development, production and packaging of vegetal soups, beverages and fruit juices.
