An idea, which conquered the market in a few years. Casalasco was born in 1977 and today is one of the major group for private label in Europe and worldwide, with more than 550.000 tons of fresh tomato processed, destined to its brands and to the best international labels to create ingredients, sauces and condiments ready to use. Advanced Partnerships, which are extended also to soups and vegetable broth, beverages and fruit juices. Casalasco is passion, research, quality, Made in Italy. The ability to be a system in granting quality, safety and control during all production steps. Unity means cooperation to establish common rules, quality systems and to invest in advanced tools of analysis and control to grant a natural product, 100% Italian, certified for use of GMO free seeds. From seed to finished product, the tomatoes of Consorzio Casalasco are checked in every step of their cultivation. The agronomic department controls all the phases. Our agronomists oversee all steps: from the seedling, transplanting, cultivation up to crop, trough crossed analysis on soil, seeds and genetics. All farms associated are compliant with GlobalGAP standard, which defines the good agricultural practices, and they respect the QC disciplinary granting crops by integrated pest management. Plants, supply chain and traceability of tomatoes are certified according to the highest international standards. A universe of guarantees, expressed in a unique and distinctive ingredient: the taste of nature.

With 3 production sites and more than 50 packaging lines, Casalasco is today one of the most important producer for its own brands and private labels in Europe, with a long experience in the co-packing of sauces, condiments, soups, beverages and a great flexibility related to packs and production systems: aseptic, hot filling, cold filling and retort. The R&D department creates recipes for the taste of any consumer. Technology always at the service of highest quality.

The most traditional Made-in-Italy brand, also known for its slogan “O così, o Pomì”, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2012.

It is the version product of Pomì designed for the foreign market. In the past the brand has always been chosen first for tomato pulp and puree.

It represents the vegetable line, such as soups and minestrone packaged in brick.
